Sky Lakes Medical Center will host two special COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week for Klamath County residents 80 and older.
Vaccinations are by appointment only and will be given 12:30-5 p.m., Feb. 11, and 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, on the fourth floor in the original medical center.
Schedule your appointment by calling 1-833-606-4370 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. Appointments cannot be made on site and walk-ins are not accepted.
Once people are scheduled, their doses are assured. Second doses can be scheduled at this week’s clinics.
According to the Oregon Health Authority’s phased distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, individuals 80 and older are now eligible for vaccinations. The distribution plan also specifies that people who are:
- 75 and older will become eligible for vaccination next week;
- 70 and older on February 21; and
- 65 and older on February 28.
Sky Lakes Medical Center hosts a drive up test site outside the Sky Lakes Community Health Education Center on weekdays from 8 am to 12:30 pm and 1 pm to 4:30 pm on N. Eldorado Blvd. Vehicles are to enter from the north driveway, and exit from the south driveway. Sky Lakes staff will gather essential information and collect the necessary samples.
Testing is available for anyone who presents at the testing site. Patients are encouraged to call their provider prior to testing. To learn more, click here.
Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services has the ability to provide COVID-19 testing to their registered patients. They request that you call 541-882-1487 to speak with a nurse to determine if testing is recommended and if so, you will be instructed on our drive-up process.
Drive-up tests will be performed at the Wellness Center in Chiloquin, 330 Chiloquin Blvd. Testing is available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) serves as the Community Mental Health Program in Klamath County and provides a wide array of mental health and addiction services to all ages. KBBH continues to provide essential behavioral health services during the COVID-19 outbreak and has moved to primarily phone-based and telehealth services provided by remote staff. Critical services including Mobile Crisis Team response, Residential Programs, and Psychiatric Services will continue to operate with additional personal safety precautions and facility sanitation procedures. LCS Northwest office in Klamath Falls is closed to clients until further notice. Many of our services will continue over the phone, by video conferencing or through telehealth. In order to serve all of our clients, we need correct information to contact you. We are still able to provide Behavioral Health services via Telehealth, including Mental Health, Substance Use Treatment, Medication Management, Project Changes in the County Schools (KCSD). We are taking new clients.
