Energy and Rental Assistance
Klamath Lake Communities Action Services (KLCAS) is a Community Action agency providing access to energy assistance and rental assistance. They are closed to the public but still working to ensure service delivery is not interrupted. Application forms are available on their website or via mail by calling their office at 541-882-3500.
Farmworkers and Landscapers Relief
Oregon Human Development Corporation (OHDC) has received funding to help farmworkers and landscape workers impacted by COVID-19. Visit www.OHDC.org or call 541-205-4068 to learn more.

The COVID-19 Temporary Paid Leave Program is available to people who need to quarantine or isolate because of COVID-19 exposure or are experiencing symptoms and need a medical diagnosis, but do not qualify for COVID-19-related paid sick leave (or do not have access to COVID-19-related paid time off).

Time Loss Program |
The Quarantine Time Loss program provides baseline $120 daily compensation for workers who cannot work due to COVID-19, are not on unemployment, workers compensation time loss, or have access to sick leave at work. The fund is $30 million, and the program will be administered by the Department of Consumer and Business Services. |

Quarantine Fund |
The Quarantine Fund provides financial support to agricultural workers who are recovering from COVID-19. This fund helps workers take the time they need to recuperate, seek care, and quarantine. This is a public health intervention to not exacerbate infection due to financial need and keep the virus contained. The fund is $10 million and will be managed by the Worker Relief Coalition. |

Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) |
PUA is a federal program created through the CARES Act of 2020 and provides unemployment benefits to workers that are not eligible for regular unemployment insurance benefits. This includes people who are self‐employed, independent contractors, and those who do not have enough recent earnings to receive regular unemployment benefits. |

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) is announcing that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the Enterprises) will offer multifamily property owners mortgage forbearance with the condition that they suspend all evictions for renters unable to pay rent due to the impact of coronavirus. The eviction suspensions are in place for the entire duration of time that a property owner remains in forbearance. The forbearance is available to all multifamily properties with an Enterprise-backed performing multifamily mortgage negatively affected by the coronavirus national emergency. (Read More Here) |
